	Subject - 3 phase converter info paulhg Am powering a dive compresssor that has a 3 phase 230 volt 20 hp motor. I have sized a 44kw converter for the conversion from 220vac single phase to 230 vac 3 phase. My concern is will a transformer be needed for the voltage variance.
