Subject - NEC Available Online?
Romex Racer If the NEC is not online and available for free, it should be. Selling these code books is a big money making venture. If these are safety standards, they should not be part of a multi million dollar industry.

End of rant.
lctrc789 That would be nice but it has never worked that way.
I don't think that would be so much of a good idea for the NFPA lol
stedder Hey the way the DIY thing is going there may be a code directed towards them (what a mess that'll cause) or there may be a per question or time relaterd fee (like carfax) I know there's a homeowner test now (for those who plan to wire-them-selvs, bzzzzt) but I think those who take the HO test at least come away with some respect for the trade and safety. The DIY market scares me!
veganfan First of all as I said before to people at work if not willing to buy one simple book every three years then maybe you’re in wrong field.
Secondly ok let's put it on line for free then you take time to download and then paper to print and cost of ink then punch holes in it so you can have a lame looking copy.
I would rather spend the $60 to $80 and get the real thing or as I am doing pay for seminar which will give you the continued education points I need any ways and get books free.
