Subject - ceiling mount projector light
papaioad Four years ago we had two projector type lights installed on our ceiling so that we could control the amount of light on two oil paintings. The lights were small and only protruded from the ceiling about 3 inches. The electrician installed a switch/knob on the wall and I would turn on the light source and then be able to control how much light the paintings received. From a tiny spot to a more open lens type light. We are presently building a new home and I would like to install two of these light sources again. I have called everyone in our area. I located the electrician and he believes the lights were Lightolier. However, when I contacted a Lightolier rep. he was unable to locate anything similiar. Can anyone help me? They are kinda like a focasable projector light source that can be mounted on the ceiling. I believe they were slightly gooseneck with a hood covering that came down behind the light source. The actual front of the light source stayed visible. Thank you. papaioad@bellsouth.net
eric240v It's hard to beat the value or performance of the JUNO "Acculux" MR-16 and MR-11 adjustable recessed lights.

They don't stick out of the ceiling at all! In fact, with the right trim, the ceiling remains dark while the painting is beautifully illuminated.Of course they can be dimmed as desired. I've installed several of these and always with great results.
Ask your supplier about them.
