Subject - ROLLING OFFSETS

I WAS INSTALLING A 1/2" PIPE IN APANEL WHICH ALREADY HAD SEVERAL PIPES INSTALLED.I HAD TO MAKE ROOM FOR MY PIPE SO I MADE A 30DEGREE OFFSET,BUT WHEN I PUT IT UP I CAME UP SHORT.I DIDN'T ADD FOR MY SHRINKAGE I GUESS???I HOPE I'M MAKING SENSE!(new member)

| On a 30° bend, you will loose 1/4" for every inch of OS you make on 1/2" conduit. You can precut and come out close. Jim

| Jimmy is right you will loose a small portion of pipe for each offset, and when it comes to such tight pipe bending and so small just try to get as close as you can and if necessary plan on it being a little long and cut the end off. 1/2 pipe should be easy to adjust and cut to length and don't worry it has happened to even the old timers lOl

| make the emt @ 1/2" long ,make rthe bend and put it into the 1/2" hole before you install the connector.now you can mark emt where it enters the can
