	Subject - Markup on jobs! Cinner I have been doing some side jobs on weekends in Vancouver and have been marking up my jobs to about $300 profit per day based on 8 hours. For example a job that takes 16 hours and $500 in material... I will charge $1100.00 cdn. Does that seem reasonable / too high / too low or does it seem fair? JimmyDee I would say you are giving the customer a good value. In my area, it would be a little low and I'm sure in some areas it would be considered too high. Jim Mike Delaney If it was a one man job I would charge 60/hr @ 16hr = 960 + 500 in material = 1,460.00 total. But we have overhead, and insurance. So you would probably make good profit at those numbers.
