Can anyone find a code that will not allow an engineer to design a system, that will bring circuits from 2 lighting panels into 4000 wiremold. I see great harm in doing this but can't find a code to stop the work.

| What harm do you see? But to answer your question, no there is no code that prohibits the practice.

| Are you sure Ryan? He's sourcing from two separate lighting panels and although my code is from the CEC I'm sure yours covers this area as well?? I may be wrong but is how I interpret it.
CEC 12-904(2): No raceway or compartment of a multiple-channel raceway shall contain conductors that are connected to different power or distribution transformers or other different sources of voltage.

| I don't beleive there is any such animal in the NEC. I know for a fact that you can have different voltage systems, different sources, etcetera in the same raceway, and I see no prohibitation in article 300 or in the surface raceway article.
