The three way light switches are existing and work properly...
I am interested in installing a dimmer switch. I purchased and installed a dimmer set with a master and slave dimmer. ( I have wired and installed three and four way switches/circuits ).
The problem is --- when turning on the lights, the master is the only controller which operates and when it does the lights give a strobe light effect. Whether they are dimmed or full on. I have not looked at the can lighting which was previosly installed as to the load, Although the wiring is correct.
There are only six can lights with lights of america 20watt self ballasted bulbs. Maybe te bulbs are not compatible?
Thanks Steve

| Fluorescent light can't be dimmed with the variable voltage dimmer like you have. Your system will work just fine with regular incandescent bulbs. It takes a special type of ballast and dimmer to control fluorescent bulbs. Jim
