Subject - Lighting Information
RS377 I have recently been put on a job where we maintain the lighting for a convention center and parking structure, and I need to learn a few things.

1- Is there any way to test the transformer for a metal halide fixture?

2- Same question for an ignitor.

3- I noticed that the instructions say that a lamp used past its rated life uses more energy, and I believe shortens the life of the transformer- could it also have a detrimental effect on the capacitor and ignitor?

4- Is there any place that I could find a comprehensive list of wiring diagrams for metal halide and other HID lighting?

thank you
