Hi,
Can I get this cleared up...today I ran an 18-2 from a tsat to a boiler. I ran the wire through its on holes and then at the boiler came down the threaded rod supporting the water pipe, then along the water pipe to the taco control box. I used black tape to support the wire at the boiler. The journeyman had me move the wire from the waterpipe and tape it along the mc's that run to the taco valves. I interpet art 725 to mean that class 2 wires should not be supported by electrical conduit and must be 2" from line voltage wires. Were either of these routes allowable?
Thanks
Steve

| 725.55 and 725.58 seem to agree with you, but check 300.11(B)(2) as well.
