	Subject - 1926 NEC txmaster What year did "romex" first appear, what year available for use. cs409 romex was developed in 1922 ish ........in Roma NY.....got real pop. in the 50s.....if you ever get to view the inside of some of the old Rubber plants like we have down here in south east texas, u will see still in use some romex wiring used/installed in late 30s and during the war, to save on metal! as in conduit......its still in use, and its in very good shape...and it looks like it was installed by artist,,,very very neat looking.... of course this would not be allowed in new construction today, but.... best to you casey,,,,
