	Subject - electrical pigtail stan sala is there another name for an electrical pigtail? JimmyDee I would like to welcome you to a great forum for learning and asking questions. Please feel comfortable to chime in to answer the questions you have knowledge of. Comments are always welcome. The term is used 3 times in the NEC. Seems to be an acceptable term. I assume the name comes from the twisted appearance of the wire nutted joining of two or more wires.
