JimmyDee In this country we train to become a motor winder by serving a 4 or 5 year apprenticeship. This link will show you an example of that apprenticeship. I don't know of any schools that have a coarse in motor winding but there may be. You can go the the box on this page that has Google in front of it and type in motor winding training and check out any training programs that may be there.
I know is it difficult to get the type of training needed to do this work.

Not that I know of but others here may know of one. Motor winding is not something that can be learned by reading a book. It takes many years of on the job training to be able to rewind a motor.

lctrc789 I know you are from a different country, but do they have a Westinghouse or General Electric plant any where there. This may be a start for motor and rewinding of motors, Usually very large ones though.
pisemude Thank you for the replies....

actually i am working in a company the provides motor service which includes motor rewinding. as for my colleague, they learn by experience & from the seniors. the problem is the did nor know whether the technique is correct and most of them did not know why these technique is done. i've searched for any training in my country but did not find. i've search the internet for any references but did not find any....
Pierre Belarge Try a web search using the motor company's name, such as Baldor, GE, etc... When you get to the website, use the contact section to ask your question.
