| cs409,
What did the web say about homeline vs. QO. I like both. I use QO for commercial, and Homeline for resisential.

| I think that SQ D type QO is one of the best you can buy, but they are more expensive then other brands, but the old clich'e you get what you pay for. Home line brand seems to work just as well for the most part, I think a lot of what brand people see better then others is where you are located. ITE, Crouse- Hinds, SQ D, General Electric, Cutler - hammer, they are all in different locations and at differnt supply houses, I prefer Cutler -Hammer and SQ D but many may like others as well. As far as the boxes I try to always use 20 cu. in boxes in plastic or fiber. Metal is more expensive and again you get what you pay for. To me it is like buying a cadillac or a pinto. Money is the name of the game for competition, in many cases. But you also have to think of customer, do you want them to call you back for more things you can do with no problems or do you want them calling you back for defective or bad insatallations.

| Im partial to SqD myself, and like Mike i use Homeline in residential and QO in commercial. The homeline is competitive with the other brands...about $80 for 200 amp 40 ckt indoor. The Arc fault and gfi breakers run about $30. In my 16 yrs in buisness, I have used just about every brand. I always come back to SqD.

| Where are you guys getting these panels? I also like the S/D panel and the Homeline, but you had better be ready to pay $120 for Homeline and about $150 for S/D, both 40 Circuit. Breakers are about $5 for H/L and $10 for S/D.
