Subject - How to Install a bathroom fan and an Gable fan

I am in the process of installing a bathroom fan and since I am going to be in the attic, I am thinking why not install an attic fan?
My question are:
I have a single outlet in the bathroom for the recessed lighting, if I fish a cable to run the bathroom fan how can I make sure that my circuit is not at maximum capacity. I will have to assume that if I follow the wires (two recessed lights) from the recessed lighting I will be able to find the cable going to the switch.
For the attic fan, I need to know which "wiring" will be the best. After removing the insulation I can see romex running all over the place, but I have no clue which breaker/circuit it is coming from. Can I simply splice one of the wires, intall a box and tap from there to the attic fan?
Any detailled explanation will be great. Thank you

| For the attic fan if possible put it on a circuit by itself. Not sure of the amperage of the fan check that first. I would probably think it would be OK to run exhaust fan off the can lights. Just turn that breaker or fuse off and see what all it controls, first. Add your amperage together to see if it will be to much. My guess is no, because everything on that circuit probably wont run at the same time. The attic fan may not pull much ass well so do the same by turning off breakers and finding the lesser load. This information I provide is just a guide line on how to see the load of a circuit. You could be overloaded so be responsible and if in question call an electrician. Hope this helps, please let us know.
