Subject - Ceiling fan has stopped working

I have a ceiling fan in my den that has been working fine for about a two years. I turned it on today and nothing. I checked the breaker box but, none where triped. Any suggestions?

| How do you turn this ceiling fan on and off? Does it have a fan speed controller switch on the wall? It's possible the fan has failed but, I'm willing to bet you have one of those controllers and that is what has stopped working. I say this because I have replaced a small pile of these. They seem to have a reliability issue.

| Well you where correct I had an electrician change the fan speed controller. The fan works fine again. The electrician said he has changed alot of fan speed controllers too.
