Subject - GFCI in place of ground wire
deltaelectric As a contractor in northern ca we don't do much residential wiring. we recently had a customer request his older home have grounded receps throughout bu his house is on a slab and roof has no attic this problem is obviously economics, tearing out alot of sheetrock is undesireable and expensive I was recently told that i could use Gfci receptacles and do not have to run ground wires anybody else hear of this or know of a code change allowing this ?
