Subject - Power problem
Kurt Have a house that trips breakers often, It has a 50amp panel
If I upgrade to a 100amp panel will this stop this problem,
I have changed all the breakers new,

No.

JimmyDee I would be willing to bet your service is a 60 amp and not a 50 amp and there is a really good chance it is a 100 amp split buss panel.

greenelectric Do you know the resaon for your breakers tripping? This is important before you decide upgrading your service panel.

lctrc789 If you are tripping breakers in the branch circuits and not the main it will not help you at all.... If you are tripping the main breaker and chances are it is a 60 not 50 you have way to much..
Installing a 100 amp service is a good thing but it will not solve your branch circuit problems, you have to split or run new circuits to do this not install a lrger service for this, the reason for a larger service is to intsall more branch circuits and help you to lighten the load on what you have....
