Subject - The Work Triangle
Romex Racer I heard this many years ago, it has always seemed to be true.

Here are the 3 sides of the work triangle:
  • Low Cost
  • High Quality
  • Done Rapidly

You can have 2 sides of the triangle but never all 3.

Does this seem valid to you guys?
Wirenutz it sure does RR

to add, if anyone is asking for good fast & cheap i flip over my clipboard and refer them to the 'handyman' whom can do every trade, (who's ad i have taped to the back)

Be careful,

Although it's not codified in the law, when you reefer a single company to a client you are acting as an agent and you become a bit liable for the results. I would suggest that you either give them names of three of them, in which case the client participates in the decision-making and you're not liable - or put the back of the clipboard to better use.

The back of my clipboard has a sample contract. I show them how I will be pricing each item as a separate line item and they will be free to pick and choose and therefore they will be free to let me know everything that's on their wish list, without feeling obligated to do everything. This often saves a return trip when they get to the point of "Wow you guys really are good! - Here is more work you don't mind working up another estimate."

I have on occasion, accompished all three. But, usually we only get 2.
But as they say, 2 out of 3 ain't bad
