| I used to work for an outfit that was a Jacuzzi dealer, and learned how to repair them quite well.
1) Are you dealing with a "Jacuzzi" brand tub? 2) Is it a hot tub, or a whirlpool tub? 3) Does it have the old mechanical-type control box, full of relays? 4) Does it have a blank-faced GFI built in? 5) Can you upload a picture of the afflicted relay?
The reason I ask is that the only "latching relay" that I am aware of in their controls was an air switch. Some of the other manufacturers used latching relays in their controls, and they were indeed difficult to repair. We even changed out entire control boxes on a few tubs to the newer electronic based types when faced with the inability to obtain obsolete replacement parts.
