I'm have a hard time finding an answer to Two of the possible questions on the Fire Alarm Electrical Test.
1. What are the minimum and maximum length of metalic raceway allowed in a system? 2. What is the minimum length of flexible conduit allowed?
This is in Rhode Island. Thanks for any help. I'm not getting mch help from co-workers.

| What are you allowed to use for references? Is this based off of NFPA 70 and 72 only? Or, do you have a "local" code as well?

| As far as I know the answer to this is in the NEC but the test I'm taking is basically NFPA 72 related. I personally think these are trick questions off an old test. I also feel they are very vague questions. mInimum length must incorporate the 1/2" that goes into a coupling...so I asume that 1" would be the minimum. The minimum for flex has me baffled. The max for a raceway would be determined by how far you can pull the wire there is no mention of a Box every 100 feet.

| Those questions are tucked here and there to make you think........ Sounds like your reasoning and "think'ner" is work'n just fine.
.....As I have the amp cranked and work on a 12 bar with a nice turn around....... Play Bass?
