	Subject - Conduit drew2 Hi everybody I am a student taking Automation and Control Technology and the class just a section on conduit bending. We watched a filmed on the subject by Tom Henry however I would like a site or abook that I could read to get all the details on the subject. Bend away and start a bone pile of your very own. lctrc789 The books are a good way to help you through conduit bending, but the best way is to get in the feild and start bending away, don't worry about the piles of scrap it happens to even the old timers. In time you will find the best method for you rigid pipe always seems to be fun to me, and it takes a lot more time.... DiverDan One of the guys that worked for me went from never bending a tube to an artist in about two weeks by reading the instructions that came with the conduit bender head and using the markings on the head. With this knowledge he was soon bending 3"-4" conduits with a hydralic press with the same artistry. Romex Racer I agree with Blackrd, the UGLY book is very useful. stedder [http://www.porcupinepress.com/index.html] has a good section on conduit bending but I think the booklet is better because you can hold it in your hand. Tmibowl You may want to look at "Electricians Guide to Conduit Bending by Richard A. Cox it's about 120 pages in a spiral binder 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2" blackrd I have that book too(Richard Cox). That may be the one in the back of the ugly book. As I have gotten better at conduit bending, I more often do it the hillbilly way. Minimal measurements and eyeball engineering, you will suprise yourself at how good you can get.
