	Subject - adding a panel box wbradle5 I have a 200 amp service that is completely used up..(all breakers used). I would now like to add a 100 amp panel. Can I tap off the existing 200amp panel? JimmyDee It can be done but I would highly recommend you get professional electrical help to do it. We normally don't give instructions on this site, because of liability issues. Jim wbradle5 thanks, I suppose I should have asked wheather or not I would have to up size the wire coming in from the meter. It is rated at 200amp, and since I would like to add a sub panel of 100 amp, would I need to then upgrade the incoming wire from the meter....thanks again blackrd Have you done a load calculation for this job?
