Okay, this isn't business related, but since everyone I talk to on this forum is right here in this section, I'm putting it here, and in a few days Scott or Jimmy can delete it.
This is just in case any of you play Chess, or ever did, or might like to fool around with it.
A friend of mine got me onto a website where you play chess against other people online. You can take as long as you want to make a move. A week, or a month even, whenever you have time. You'll get an email that tells you when you opponent has made another move.
There's a chat feature, so you can talk back and forth while you play. You can set it for private or public viewing, so no one else can see the game but the two players.
They even have tutorials and such for the rusty player.
I hadn't played Chess in a long time, since my father taught me decades ago. But I tried it and now I'm totally hooked. The fact that you can play at your own pace, just sign on for a minute from the office computer at lunchtime and make a move, makes it very convenient, and there's no pressure to sit down and play a whole game.
So if you want, I'm registered as MONOLITH72. You can sign up, look me up on the list, and challenge me to a game. Don't worry, I'm just an average player, but trying to get better.
Hope to see you there. www.gameknot.com
Scott/Jimmy, if you could let this hang for a day or two, then pull it, I'd apreciate it. Thanks.

| Sometimes the other player is entering your moves into a computer chess program and then using the computer's moves as his own. Internet chess is a dirty, underhanded business!

| Probably true. I play with friends, so I don't feel concerned. Strangers would be a different thing.
Also, as long as you start playing as black, they can't do that.
Since white goes first, if they go first, their computer would go next, and it's moves will not match yours.
