	Subject - QUALIFIED PERSON ? veganfan Qualified Person One who has skills and knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installations and has received safety training on the electrical hazards involved. FPN: Refer to NFPA 70E-2004 Standard for Electrical safety in the work place, for electrical safety training requirements. I just went to NEC 2005 seminar and they said due to this FPN: we must have training from 70E in order to remain qualified personal. Do you all see it this way too? I do not have problem with this I just would like input because I plan to try to make work pay for 70E training. Wirenutz i was told that osha does not recognize 70E, but this was a while ago... lctrc789 I think that this is a mtter of preference for each employer. Who is qualified to enter electrical equipment rooms. etc.... Many different people enter them some do work in them but qualified should be a competent electrican, maintanence person or some one who has been trined. I have seen this many times as to who is qualified and who is not. Wirenutz i would venture osha might have thier druthers over what constitutes empolyer preference Pat
