	Subject - available amps? bkm67 I'm wondering what available amps we have at a 480v 3p panel with 2 100a breakers and 1 20a breaker being fed from a 200a breaker located in a 800a panel? wareagle What determines the answer to your question is as follows: 1. fault current available from the utility 2. Transformer kva size and %impedance 3. distance and size of conductor from source. This may be multiple sizes and distances involved. Panel size and breaker size is not involved.
