Subject - GFI Problem
stoerzinger Hello,I'm hoping someone can answer this question I have.
I have a circuit in my kitchen that includes three standard elec. receptacles each separated by a GFI.
The problem is when I plug anything into either GFI it trips the GFI and the breaker.I have used a GFI tester and it says the GFIs are wired correctly and in proper working order.
What should I do now?
Any info would be helpful.
Thanks
Scott Vickrey I suspect, you have a short in the GFI. Can you smell something burned at the outlet? Regardless, The GFI needs to be replaced. An electrician can do this in minutes.
stoerzinger Thanks for your reply,I kind of figured there might be something wrong with the GFIs so I am actually picking up replacements this morning.
Thanks again,

electricalpro Good recommendation, I have had several out of box bad GFCI's.
AMPMWIRED ITS NOT THE GFI. REMOVE THE GFI & INSTALL STANDARD OUTLET,CHECK CIRCUIT WITH VOLT METER FOR PROPER WIRING. INSTALL NEW GFI
