Can someone please explain how you get, in simple idiot terms, 277 from a transformer and if it is specific for a Wye or Delta system.

| To get 277 volts you will need the transformer secondary connected in the Y configeration. The voltage measured between phases is 480 volts and from phase to ground is 277 volts.
