Subject - Siding Blocks
luckyshadow On your new house wires. Who provides the siding block for the exterior lights and receptacles , you or the siding installer ?
Electricman Siders for the custom homes we do. Us for the tract homes, I guess it all depends on the contract with the builder.

I think the only ones I've provided are for my own house. It is common in this area for the sider to provide. I like to install so they are done right.

side-cut1 It does depend on the contract with the builder. One builder we have requires my company to provide them. Yet another requires the siding company to provide them. Problem with the siders is they really don't know how to put them on properly.
