I was recently out of work and was taken back by the amount of jobs out there that wanted motor controls experience and the lack of jobs that didn't have it in the description.
Being from a small tourist town, I was never exposed to much control work, and as such have no experience to speak of.
Does anyone know of a good school or class to take in the San Jose,California area, or even a good book to read?

| I don't know of classes where you are at, but a local bookstore or even your local electrical supply house may help. Many of the technical or vocational schools teach motor controls and some elctrical supply stores have at certain times had paper work taught by someone in your area that teaches motor control and so forth. Allen Bradley and Westinghouse used to have books on this and a good code book and knowing the right steps can really help. I wish you luck in finding what you are looking for. Keep us posted as to what you find , it could help out others as well.
