	Subject - CPR TRAINING shocky IS ANYONE OTHER THAN ME REQUIRED TO HAVE CPR TRAINING AT WORK.IT IS A GOOD THING TO KNOW,BUT COSTS ALOT TO RETRAIN ONCE A YEAR. lctrc789 Yes,I am required CPR and first aid. Cpr classes every 2 years and first aid every 3. Many large companies and unions require this it isn't unusual and really it is very nice to know both of them. JimmyDee As a voc ed instructor at the high school level, I required it. Most of the contractors in West Michigan require the card and I know the IBEW requires it for their apprenticeship. As far as I have seen in Texas your average contractor does not reqire or promote it. aussiesparky I too am required to have CPR training. As my employer requires all electrical workers on the site to be trained. They pick up the tab. This includes the contract workers.
