we need to know what is the reference for color coding for wiring in DC voltage

| Other than the ground wire the national electrical code doesn't specify colors for DC circuits. Red is commonly used for positive and black for negative and green for ground.

| I worked at a plant that used black for negative and white for positive. I have also worked at another plant where it was the opposite. All the control cables where shielded black and white twisted pair. This should be standardized somewhere.
