	Subject - Wiring a Steamer shaky I have 10 awg wire coming out of steamer and calling for a 30 amp breaker. I have existing 6 awg going to the breaker box, can I use the 6awg or, do I need to run new wire using 10 awg? Mitch You can use the # 6 wire just change the breaker to a 30 amp. If you don't change the breaker then the answer is maybe.
