	Subject - How Do I Convert 480 skillet to 240 StumpedTom We recently bought a Market Forge Electric tilt skillet. A mate to one that we already have.... EXCEPT the one we have is a 240v 3 phase, and the one we bought is a 480v 3 phase. How can we convert this 480v 3 phase skillet to a 240volt 3 phase skillet? JimmyDee I would be surprised if the elements in this wern't 2 - 240 volt elements in series. They would have to be paralleled for them to work. Jim zapped208 You could possibly loose 1/3 of your rated wattage output by switching to 240 volts, if the elements are rated at 480 volts. Yes, post us a print. We all can trouble shoot this.
