I Need some help in detraining if I need to upgrade to a 400 amp panel. (One Example) Single family 2889sq ft. It has a 5 ton and a 2 ton ac unit. I've calculated a service demand load of 41371 va . 175 AMP. This is Arizona they probably will be adding on a swimming pool. This house also get a extra detached garage. (It already has a three car garage) The detached garage could be from 900sq ft to 1300 sq ft, bath room w/water heater and who knows what else? Their could also be extra added on to the house. I need to stay competitive but I don't want to be lacking amps!
