kmct1233 Hi All,
Yesterday my clothes dryer stopped running a couple of times and my husband couldn't get it to keep running. He changed the circuit breaker and the dryer ran fine after that. But this morning our lights went out in several rooms. He reset circuit breaker and lights are back on. My question is does this not seem dangerous like isn't there an underlying cause for the breaker to trip after just being replaced. And one other thing I have been hearing a strange sound off and on for awhile now. It sounds like a popping noise coming from the attic of our house not crackling but a popping noise. My husband thinks it is a woodpecker but I don't. Don't know if this is even related to an electrical problem just thought would mention it.

Thanks

JimmyDee I would say you are in danger. Call an electrical contractor NOW. What ever is going on could cause a fire. There is always a reason a circuit breaker trips and it is usually never a good one.
