I bought a 12 volt switch panel with 3 switches (with fuses holders) for my boat which came with no directions and I am trying to figure what are the max amps per circuit. In Boaterworld catalog it is described as follows "Whitecap - Black 3 Gang 12V/15A Panel W/Outlet". It appears that it might be 5 per circuit and the total for the panel is 15 amps. However I need to run a 10 amp stereo through it so could I do 10 amps on one circuit, 5 on another and not use the 3rd. Also what are the factors that determine how many amps a switch can carry?

| After searching the web for your switches I came up with no usful info, but I would venture to guess that it should be 15 amp per switch .To be safe you should consult the manufacturer. Also look carefully at the switches most often they are labled as to what the max amp they are rated for. Did it come with any fuses and what are their amp ratings?
