| Hi Alison, I represent Phase-A-Matic, Inc. - manufacturer of Phase Converters. If your building does not have 3-phase power, installing a Phase Converter can be significantly less expensive than bringing it in from the power company. We have put Phase Converters on tanning beds. According to our data base, they have generally been in the 15 to 20 HP range (our models R-15 and R-20 Rotary Converter). In order to determine the correct converter for your needs, we need to know the amperage and voltage ratings, or kw and voltage ratings of your beds. We also need to know if the beds require staying within plus or minus 5 or 10% voltage across the lines. If so, it would require using our Voltage Stabilizer with the Rotary Converter. You can call us toll free at 1-800-962-6976 (8 am to 5 pm Pacific time Mon.-Fri.) to discuss the application for the best solution to your situation. You can also find very helpful information on our web site at: http://www.phase-a-matic.com We look forward to hearing from you. Donna Johnstone Phase-A-Matic, Inc.
