how can I fix the electrical outlets? When I feel them they are HOT.

| Heat is generated from a high resistance connection. This may be caused from a loose terminal or if someone did the push in type connections (should be outlawed) that could cause the heat you are talking about. I would kill the power going to them and tighten the wire connections. If they appear to be burnt, replace them. You also may have a heavy load on the line somewhere and that may be part of the problem. Remember that heat can cause fires so fix ASAP. Jim

| I have seen recepticals glowing and half burned up when called! Loose connections.Are you running appliances which heat something? These use lots of power,which heats the wire and receptical.One portable heater using 1500 watts pulls 12.5 amps.That alone is all a 15 amp circuit should carry.(80% is 12 amps)Hope this helps.
