	Subject - Powell Electric/ESI mahlere Just curious is anyone is familiar with this company. Based outside of Las Angeles. The reason I ask is that they had 4 technicians in Sept 2004 generate over $72,000 each in revenue. The top tech had over $90,000 (this is just for the month of September) One of their techs was over $700,000 for the year. They are an ESI company, but I couldn't find any other information about them. Are they reputable? Hit and Run? etc. Thanks Erik blackrd I havent heard of them. I would love to know how each tech hits 70k each in one month. Romex Racer I'm in Los Angeles and have seen Powell for many years, I have had customers call me after they've gotten quotes from powell. I did not know they were ESI. I quoted a customer last year $300 to install light on a garage after Powell quoted $2000. When customers are shocked at my quotes, I invite them to get an estimate from Powell. But the wierd thing is, in some Yellow Pages, they quote very low prices for cieling fans, recessed lights, etc. They must come in and upsell the job like crazy. They are in all the yellow pages as you know, I think they are based in Silver Lake. They have been around 20 years that I know of, I think they are reputable, just extremely expensive is what I've heard. I used to get mailings from them offering me a sales comission if I sent them work. I see their trucks with the big lightbulb painted on the side all over town. How did you hear about these figures?
