How do get on general contractors bid lists?I was going to go to ther shop or write a letter.Any help would be great.I am a new union electrical Contractor in PA,Thanks Rob

| A single page flyer, in color, maybe with a graphic or photo, that you can handout when you stop by the job site or GC's office is good. There is more information here some where. Some times I think we need either a better search engine here, or we should convert it in to a database with indexes and a table of contents. Good grief!

| Direct contact is always best, puts you up at the head of the line when they start looking for someone new.
Something else that I thought would be useless, but really turned out impressive, is www.thebluebook.com.
I'm in PA as well. I asked for some info about the book, the next thing I new, my name was in the next edition, for free. Suddenly I started getting emails from people inviting me to bid projects all over PA.
I got a free copy of the book, and a cool coffee mug too. 
This book was the first time I saw my company name in a book somewhere. Brought a tear to my eye. Seriously, check them out. You won't regret it.
