	Subject - sub panel in garage gstamper I want to supply 50 amps to a detached garage through 50 ft. of 1 inch conduit(underground). There may be water in the conduit.It may be subject to leaks. What type of wire would work best ? There are a couple of twists & turns in the conduit. lctrc789 All conduit has some water in it I have seen it many times. 50 amp circuit 50 feet long sub panel I would us # 6 XHHW or THWN and use a # 8 for ground.
