	Subject - 208 to 480 wiring in the motor JB stedder I need to convert an 18 yr old 15 h.p. motor from 120/208 to 480 to complete a change out (same motor, new transformer) the motor has 9 wires right now it's 4-5-6, 9-3-(L1) 8-2-(L2) 7-1-(L3) I am somewhat sure this a dual voltage (208/480) motor but not sure of wiring, anybody do this all the time and could let me in on the proper splicing? Wirenutz L1=1 4&7 tie together L2=2 8&5 tie together L3=3 6&9 tie together ugly's books are a wonderful thing eh? ~W~ stedder Oh yea, Ugly's I was browsin' the AE Handbook but there's too much stuff in there. Thanks Wirenutz I couldn't remember if it was 3 big clumps or 1-2-3 to 1-2-3 now I'm clear.
