Subject - Dimming Lights

Hi,
We have been in our newly constructed house for a year. I have noticed that some of our lights do not immediately turn off. They take a second or two to dim off (and there are no dimmers installed on them).
This is happening to 3 of our lights in the house. Only two of these are on the same circuit. I have checked the connections on the fixtures and switches, and they are all tight.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
thx, m

give us a clue here mattpal,
what sort of home? stick built? modular? alt construction? are you on a municipal h20 supply? proximty to other homes? proximty to serving xformer?
and most importantly, was your home inspected?

| hi,
its a stick built in a new subdivision. most lots are approx 1/4 acre, so houses are fairly close together. the serving transformer is on the curb right in front of the house.
home was inspected and passed. we are in buncombe county, nc.
thx, m
