| The utility company may have a different requirement from the NEC. I don't know their reasons, but RG&E requires a #4 ground electrode conductor.

| NEC requires nothing larger than #6 awg cu but remember how you layout the connection may change that . For instance lets say you daisy chain the connections from one electrode to the other well then the largest size would be called for depending on what the electrode is >
