	Subject - Dishwashers BASE Hardwired or on individual receptacle? Electricman Done em both ways. JimmyDee I like to hard wire them but either way is done all the time. Jim BASE I do work in three different counties, and one requires it to be on a receptacle as well as the garbage disposal. The other does not require it. I can't think of a deciding reason for the dishwasher to be on a receptacle. As a means to disconnect, but it is on an individual circuit.
