Subject - Was hoping some one could help me out please...
Crumb So I bought an Advanced Ballast for my 70W Metal Halide aquarium light I am building.

How do I wire this thing?

There is a the wiring diagram on the ballast itself, and the wiring for the bulb socket seems easy enough.

But the wiring for the cord scares me... There are 4 wires total, 2 are for the bulb and the other 2 I'm not sure about. One is labeled in the diagram as 120V wire. The other is a 277V wire, not to sure what that is. And the case itself is the ground!?! So, how in the hell do I wire a plug to this thing?

If I can find a pic of the wiring diagram online, I'll post it.

Thanks for any help!

Again, any help would be appreciated!
Scott Vickrey Concidering the water you will surely be putting your hand in and the fact that you can't understand that very simple wiring diagram I'm not comfortable answering or allowing others to answer this question for liability reasons. Ask an electrician you know they will tell you.
Sorry Crumb
