	Subject - 100 amp service???? nards01 I'm in the process of having the fuse box converted to a breaker box. One electrician said he would put in a 100 amp box with space for 24 circuits, but the house only has 7 circuits now. He may add one or two new circuits. My questions is this - assuming there are 15amp breakers put in, won't 9 (15 amp) circuits be an overload 9x15 = 135 amps. What does 100 amp service actually mean ? Another guy said I need 200 amp service.
