I'm a newbie looking at generators for standby power at our vacation cabin. In looking on EBAY I've found 2 generators - both 15 KW Onans. One with significantly more bids and higher $ than the other. I don't know enough about them to determine why one seems to be more attractive to buyers than the other as they seem quite similar to me. Any input? Thanks in advance, In case it's easier, the EBAY's are: 3872261044 & 3872546979 The URL's follow:

| Bids on ebay are no way to compare item value.
I've listed identical items on ebay and it seems that once bidding starts on one item, the other can get ignored. It seems like people get so wrapped up in the competition of bidding, they forget to look at other listings that are selling for a lower price! I've seen this with other listed item as well. One person will be selling the same thing another person is selling, but they sell for drastically different prices.
There's really no making sense out of why folks bid the way they do. Sometimes it's just nuts.
