	Subject - need help for motor-based robot arm tmitim hai.. I'm new here,pls educate me if i go wrong.TQ I need to know what kind of motor suitable for my project to make a dynamic robot arm that using 2 motors. Robot arm hopefully can go forward and backward, also turning left and right. What is the compatible power source for that knid of motor. I'm sure it needs some sort of programming C U..:) JimmyDee Most robot motors are either stepper motors or servo type motors. My programming for the stepper motors is 20 years old and I can't help you on that anymore. They are usually used when precision, non feed back positioning is needed. If the arm has some type of feed back device like an encoder, a servo motor can be used and the speed and direction of the motor are determined by programming. Not much help, sorry. Jim
